Poker basics are like magic wands in any player’s poker profession. Anyone that knows the poker basics well is going to make a better decision. One plus one equals two and this is a hard and fast rule. Similarly, there are many poker basics that are unalterable like Ace is the high rank in holdem; and, Queen is never higher than Ace and so on. Most of us spend less time in basics and we spend a lot of time in learning the strategies, but truly when you are playing strategies, if we understand the poker basics with all our wise senses and follow the simple math we will not have to read so much of strategies. most of the things in poker are like the 1 + 1 = 2 rule.
We have a hesitance to fold many of the hands and that is the number one mistake that we do in poker. We trick our sense and coax our sense to let up play and bluff to win with a worse hand. Play straight with just good hands and you will be to the top. Never play temptation and this is one of the poker basics psychology that every poker player should know.
