Poker bluffing is a deceptive technique that is used to mislead the other player about the real status of your hand. You can make your opponent believe what you want them to believe about your hand. Poker bluffing can help you conceal the real status of your hand. Despite you having a weak hand you can make your opponent fold, regardless of whether they have a strong hand or otherwise.
Poker bluffing is very essential for any player targeted with winning money in tourneys. Without the skills to bluff anybody may not win in tourneys. There are several books and CDs and websites offering effective tips. You need to learn and put them in to practice. One may not win with bluffing at all times, the essence of winning with poker bluffing lies with the player learning when to you bluff and when not to bluff!
Winning with bluffing requires lot of expertise because not only would you bluff, your opponent would also know to bluff! You need to learn to recognize bluffs! And that comes only with experience.
Poker bluffing involves mastering several things ranging from estimating the opponent’s hands, estimating the cards on the boards, estimating the opponent bluffs and quite a lot… you need to know how, when, and where of bluffing to really win with it.
