There are controversial opinions regarding poker history from varied cultures. There are card game is suspected to have originated from China and some say it is from the French and some say it is from Egypt and literally every country has its claim to support their card games to poker history stories; some of the names under which the card games were played were As Nas, Ganjifa, Priomero, Poque, Pochen and many more Evidently, it was played only by thieves and cheats, but as time did spin, card games became an enjoyable sport that is being professionally played. It is gaining recognition as a mind game. The present deck of 52 cards is believed to have some similarity to the Mamluk cards that were used by the Islamic empire of Mamluk.
It is believed that the 52 deck used in current day poker is developed from the French card game Poque now called as to poker in America. Most card games related information report 3 card, four card and five card trick games in almost widespread cultures of the world! Deriving the exact poker history is still confusing.
Conclusively, it could have been an evolutionary development of the various basic tricky card games from various cultures associated with and betting and deceiving to win!
